Percy Jackson and the Olympians 
             The Percy Jackson and the Olympians is currently number four on the children's series best seller list for New York times. The books are right behind the Harry Potter books, which is behind The Hunger Games, and which The Diary of a Wimpy kid took home the first place prize. The book is by Rick Riordane. It says ages 9-12, but currently I disagree with that. I think this book can be enjoyed by people of all ages, well not the young lads and lasses. 
                         The book is about a young boy named Percy who finds out he is a half blood, half human half Greek god,  and his father is god of the sea. (Which makes him be able to breath under water.) He has to go to camp half blood where he will be kept away from monsters and such. He meets a satyr named Grover, Luke, and Annabeth. Luke turns over to the Titan gods and becomes evil, and Annabeth and Percy start liking each other. All along the series they go on adventures saving the world and the Olympians. Each book they find themselves in more trouble, but use their power and friendship to get them out.  Luke gives his body over to Kronose, and Percy is afraid Annabeth will be too scared to fight Luke when the world depends on it. Will they save Olympus, or will the Titan gods take over?
                          Percy Jackson books are fun to read, and can be read by people pf all ages I say. I am a few chapters away from finishing the last book, which makes me sad. These books are funny and entertaining to read. It has a spark of romance in a few parts though. If I where you and I didn't read these books yet, I would go purchase (or borrow) these books, and then read them.

                   Sarah Palin Visits Haiti
                    The once governor of Alaska went to visit Haiti, but only for forty eight hours. She went to visit Haiti with her reality TV daughter, Bristol, and her husband, Todd. Most camera's were off during the trip, but she allowed Fox cameras, where she works as a new annalist, to record some things. The trip had been planned almost a whole month in advanced. She helped the Samaritan's Purse, which has made about 10,000 different temporary shelters for those hurt in the earthquake.
                                       When she went to see them she noted that it was one of the poorest and much harsher places she had ever been to. When someone asked her about the trip she said, "We are so fortunate in America, and we should use that fountain to help others. The Samaritan's Purse is still her doing all the hard work." Sometimes world-wide known people only do charity things like this for good publicity, which is worse than not going at all. It's nice that she remembered Haiti still. Many people have forgotten them and moved on to other things.
                                         She held and an eight month old baby, but with the conditions it was in, it looked among eight weeks old. Most of the locals paid no attention to little old Palin. In fact, when asked about her most of them didn't even know her name. Some didn't even realize she was there at all. Some are even saying she went there just so they could know her name......

Busy Hurricane Predicted for 2011

              The Atlantic Hurricane forecast calls 17 tropical storms. Nine of which are predicted to become hurricanes.   Meteorologists students at Colorado State University say at least five will be category three or above.  Most people are making the 2011 hurricane season as the worst hurricane season will be the worst in decades. All I can say is go in your home, stick some boards out, and stock up on food and water for the nest hurricane season.

Nonprofit Cup Maker Buys North Flannery Facility

                A nonprofite based New Orleans thing that provideds work for the blind has purchased the old Fantec plant on North Flannery Road. The nonprofit thingy goes by the name Light House for the Blind. They purchased the plant thing for $1.6 milliion in closing today. The president of The Lighthouse, Bill Price, announced they would use the building for making and shipping paper towels and paper cups! Most of the emplees with be the blind they help give work to.

Chicken processor to open Bastrop plant and hire 300

               A chicken processor company was started to give 300 jobs to those who need them. Bobby Jindal stated to a newspaper saying it was located in Mississippi to help those who lost their job in the recent economic fall. The plant will also create 900 other jobs in the local area.  In Mississippi a recent paper mill made 550 without jobs, that's when this was opened. The company makes, ships, and sells chicken.

U.S. jobless claims drop

                The Department of Labor report that the first claims for the unempleed people benefits dropped to the lowest level this year. It adjested to 421,00 in on week, which is less than last years. This is a really good things, because it means American's are getting of their lazy butts and working for their money. The drop has reached the lowest since the August of 2008! That's amazing!      

 

Suppliers say new iPad coming in early 2011

                 The Apple company is getting ready with a new modle for a new ipad. The company said it will be released early 2011. Like the iphone and new ipod touch, it will have a camra on frount AND back! It will be slimmer litter, and better display. The modle is said to come out in janurary. They don''t hit the shelves till April though. I say they will probably have a newer one soon, so it might be better to wait, or go and waist your money on this.

                      I really thought Lauren's jokes where cute, and they should go in the paper. Laurens tounge twister was cute and made my tounge mad. :P Also I liked Reagan's mad libs things, because it's diffrent and shakes things up a bit. Paige's article on the new Xbox seems pretty legit. Malori's article on the Christimas treditions was tight. Maddy's pig fact and weird names made me giggle. Tatyana's articles on the Nook vs Kindle was awesome, and I also enjoyed the poem she found. The other people didn't post anything, so I can make no comment on them.

Believing in Santa VS Believing in Jesus

         Everyone in their lifetime believed in old Saint Nicolas, but will they accept the fact that Jesus is the real one? I don' get it how little children can believe in a guy going all around the world giving presents to every child in just one night! They believe he knows what your thinking, but only God knows. They believe He always sees what you're doing, but only God can see that. If as  children we can believe in some fat guy going in our chimney, and giving you presents why not believe in God who gave the most important present, His Son, and out eternity as mature beings. Sure beleiveing in Santa is ok, but it's time to grow up! Santa's not real, and Jesus is, we just have to accept that. Christmas has became getting presents and shunning Christmas's real reason out. When kids think Christmas they think presents. When adults think Christmas they think spending, getting, and giving. Televition puts Christimas as getting, giving, and spending time with family. Sure, that is OK, as long as you remember the pain and burrdens Jesus went through for us all. What did "Santa" do besides give you some game that will end up boring you later, and getting you no where closer to heaven.

      Mr. Madman was a very mean boss. He literally worked his workers right down to their bones. Every Christmas Eve he made them work over time. Many say he only does this because hes a lonely old hag, and others say he was born without what normal people would call kindness. Well, however you put it, he was just down right mean.

          He has grey hair from years of stress, and dull colorless eyes. He has so many bags under his eyes, that his bags have bags. His nose is small, but his large mouth balances that out. He has normal size ears, but they are always red from anger. His mouth is always forming a frown, and people say he only smiles when he is about to fire someone. So, when he came into work with a smile, they all got to work vigorously.

         "Well, Mr. Apples, you have been working a wee bit slower than everyone else, care to explain?" Mr. Madman ask with a suspicious smile.
          "Well, you see it's Christmas eve and my little boy Johnny is sick with a fever of one hundred and two. I just keep thinking about it, and I was wondering if I could take off to see if he is OK." Mr.Apples
          "You dare ask for a day off! Bah! Get back to work!" Mr. Scrooge Madman said with anger.
          "But sir, it's Christmas Eve." Mr. Apple said with a hint of anger, but it was near to impossible for him to get angry.
          "Fine, you want a day off, how a bout a vacation too? Better yet, go pick up your last pay check so you can spend the rest of your days with that greedy no good son of yours." As Mr.Madman said each word he had a vicious smile on his face. Mr. Apple walked off sad, and grabbed his final check. (which wouldn't be enough for the surprise Christmas dinner he was planning.
          "The nerve of some people. What's the point of Christmas anyway! Bah! Humbug!" He said aloud to himself as he walked out the door and into the street. He came upon Christmas carolers, and walked the opposite way. When he went the other way he saw some more people telling the true meaning of Christmas. He had no choice but to go this way because there was no other way to his home.
          "God sent his only son Jesus, who died for your sins, and wants you to invite him into your life." One said to Scrooge Madman.
          "Yea, what's so good about a God who can't give me more money, which is what I need more than a relationship. Bah!" He said as the man held out his hand. Scrooge grabbed it because something over came him. He saw his past, present and future. He gaped as he saw himself alone on Christmas morning twenty years from now. He saw little Johnny dead, and a horrible Christmas for the Apple family.
         "OK, so tell me the true meaning of Christmas?" Scrooge said with a nicer smile. He ended up getting saved, hiring Mr. Apple back, gave all his workers better hours and a raise, and gave the Apple family the Christmas they deserved.

Panda Bear

          What's not to love about these furry big bears, I mean, come on! They are cuddly and are so cute at such a young age, till they age and find out that we are fresh meat to eat. But, that is OK, as long as they are cute. Believe it or not, but panda bears are pretty rare. You can't just go in the woods and see them like you would see deer, because there are only 239 recorded pandas. You can mostly find them at your local zoo in a cage they call home. The reason we don't see them so often is because they live in China, sure China gets ALL the fun. They can easily be spotted by their black and white fur. Don't worry about being eaten by one and all, because their diet is 99% bamboo. The main reason they attack humans is out of irritation, because humans tend to annoy people. The cutest pandas are the chubby like ones with the round faces. Pandas date way back to 1869, but some argue that they go back two million years, but i don't really believe that. One weird fact about them, is they don't hibbernate like other animales! Since they have a special diet they don't have the big fat they need to burn off from that. The Chiense once called the panda's big cat bears. (: Even though they don't eat meat, they have the biggest teeth of any carnivor. Pandas can live twenty years in the wild, and approximatly fifteen in a zoo or what not. I honestly think they are better off in the wild, becuase they belong there.

1)Wife Receives 10 years

                 Kendra Talley, age 30, was sentenced 10 years for participating in killing her husband weeks before Christmas of 2004. After the Judge announced the verdict, Talley's mother asked her whats she thought of it. Talley replied she thought it was fair and better than life behind the big bars. She killed her husband, Thomas Talley who would be 30 now, on December 11, 2004 just outside their Covington Pointe subdivision. She was cheating on Thomas with Tommy D. Rowell, age 42, which is why she wanted to kill him. Tommy was the one who did the shooting, so he has been sentenced to life in prison.

2)City Council Approves Budget

              Wednesday, December 1, The New Orleans City Council voted to increase property taxes. In approving this budget the council added money for firefighters, sanitation, public defenders, city planning, animal control and the arts. They voted to raise the city's millage rate by 6.74 mills , 2 mills less than Mitch Landrieus proposed. This increases 5% of total property tax bills. Some even said they wanted to scrape it back even more, but didn't receive enough votes to move forward.

3)Arico Killing Solved

              78 year old  woman named Mary Nancy Mule Arico was found dead in her kitchen. She had struggled with her killer, who was only 16, but he was strong. He stabbed her, and finished her off by a blow in the head with her own microwave oven. She was a quite old lady who keep to herself, which is why she wasn't found till three weeks after the murder. They found that a 16 male and 14 year old female were linked to this crime. Both got decided as first degree murder and mans saluter. If they are to try them as adults the case will be public. If they they try them as miners, the case will be closed to the public eye.

4)Fork Polk Soldier Killed in Afghanistan Battle

            The second officer in this week has been reported as dead. First to die was Scott F. Milley who died at the young age of 23. Milley died of a terrible gun shot wound, and was a resident of Massachusetts. Second to die was Devon J. Harris, who also died young, age 24. He was a current resident of Texas, and died during rocket attack. They both died at a very young age, and both will be missed by their families. This shows we need to pray for our soldiers in Afghanistan.

5)Man Killed Over Night in Shooting

                       Anthony Alexis, age 34, was shot and killed right in front of his apartment early this morning. Police got many reports of shootings around 2 a.m. When they came to the scene of the crime Anthony was suffering in front of his apartment. He was announced dead at the scene of the crime. Police have no clue who or why they did it. They are investigating and looking for witnesses. They posted a number for anyone to call in-case they know anything about the murder.

1)Murders of two officers were 'cold-blooded killings'
               A man is accused of shooting two Chicago police officers, and shot again when he saw one move. The victims where armed, but didn't have much time to react. Officer Flisk was on duty at the burglary, when he saw stereos in a trash can in the back of a car. Timothy Willis, age 22, hid the murder weapon, one police officer said. He's in jail with a bail of $250,000 for weapon charges. Timothy Herring was the one who did the shooting slash murder. Flisk got a call of a break in, and answered  it himself. When he got there Herring said he had information. Flisk said it didn't matter because he had finger prints, and he was shot then.

2) Coat Brings As Much Joy As A Toy
             Over the past ten years a woman named Luther Burbank has keep a "letters to Santa" organization. She said they get ask for coats and various other clothing as much as toys. Most kids have to wear sweaters to school because they don't have warm coats. One kid asked what Santa was doing, and what his elves where too. One kid even asked if Mrs. Claus was making cookies. Many kids this year asked for bratz and Lego like things.

3)Teens Live 50 Days on Rain Water, fish and a gull
                While three teens were fishing in New Zealand the motor suddenly stopped. Before being rescued they spent 50 days drinking rain water, eating raw fish, and the few gulls they could find. By the time rescuers got they the three had been called to death. A memorial service was had for all  three. There names were Samuel Pelesa and Filo Filo, both 15, and Edward Nasau, 14.

4)Doctor Runs Small Center With Big Results
              Dr. Michael Malone says he thinks everyone deserves good care, regardless if they can pay not. He says their patience and that neighborhood deserves some respect. They have nearly 11,000 patience in all. He sadly admitted that they can't fit anymore people in. He said all this has just come from word of the mouth.They never advertised or put up a billboard, he even said they can't afford that stuff.

5)215 Cars Towed on First Night of Ban
              Tow trucks were busy on the first night of parking ban on one of Chicago's most important streets. Despite having signs, calenders, and public warning, 215 still parked in baned areas. The ban goes in effect yearly from December 1-April 1 between 3 am to 7 am.  Many people learned during last years ban, which had 234 vehicles towed. The reason they are having this ban is because of non other than, snow. When it snows they need the streets cleared so they can properly clean it.

 1)Senate Passes food-Safety Legislation

                              Food safety law is getting the over view that has been need in decades. Yesterday the food safety law was passed, a reporter from Washington said. Obama said the needs to be reconciled, since it was really passed in July 2009. The bill was, and still is, supported by president Obama. It requires record keeping up dates from food producers. The bill is being reconsidered because of the 1,800 people sick due to salmonnella.

2) Disney's Rick Ross has gone mad

                   Pixar has never one a best picture Oscar, despite the great top dollar films they have made. It had a brake through with the movie "Up," but the movie was never taken seriously. This year Pixar has brought out Toy Story 3, which made whopping one billion dollars world wide. The movie also got almost all 99% good reviews. This year Rick Ross announced they weren't going for best animation, but the whole enchilada. That's right, they are going for the best picture of the year. He is begging to get ready to enter. The question is, will they win? Well, just tune in to see.

3) Tangled beat Burlesque

                   The movie got $69 million dollars world wide in only five days. Tangled beat other films called Burlesque, Love & Other Drugs, and faster. Tangled is putting Disney's Animation back on top. Burlesque got the best of the other three with only  $17.2 million. Many thought Burlesque would be the top dog of the box office, but they where wrong. Burlesque only goes out to adult viewers, while Tangled goes to people of all ages. I plan on going to spend my money on Tangled.

4) E-books are more popular than real books

                In case you have been in a cave these past years, you know everything has gone digital. Even, books are online too. There has been a decrease in book sales at stores, but an increasing of books online. People find it easier to just buy the books online, than go out and buy them. I, on the other hand, like to buy and hold the book. Soon there will be no books, but e books.

 

5) Jani's at the Mercy of her mind

               Six year old Jani knocked her food off her cart, slammed her head into the wall, and kicked the hospital therapy dog at her hospital. Her mom stated that Jani normally likes animals. She has a really rare mental condition that she was born with. Every medicine they try bounces off and doesn't work. She suffers from hallucinations and rage over her parents. She has even threatened to climb in an oven. Doctor's have no clue at what to do.

1)The "Honeymoon Killer"(Watson) charged for murder
                A man named Gabe Watson, age 33, served jail time in Australia for murdering his wife while on their honeymoon scuba diving. On Thursday he arrived in Los Angeles and was taken into custody by their local police. Australia said he wouldn't face the death penalty if he where re-tried in Alabama. He killed her by turning of her air supply off while under the water, and held her underwater in 2003. He was arrested in 2008, and only served 18 months. He is now on his Alabama to serve his time.

2) Obama got 12 stitches on lip
             President Obama had to receive 12 stitches after a basketball game, on November 26. The white house said that he had been hit in the lip by some one's elbow. He was quickly treated by a doctor in the White House. At the White House he was seen holding an ice pack to his lip. He was playing basket ball with Reggie Love, and various other family members on Thanksgiving in the US. He was recorded in a casual outfit with an icepack held to his lip. When reporters can to the White House, they saw an ice pack to his mouth will sitting by a window.

3)Black Eyed Peas to Preform at Super Bowl
                 Black Eyed Peas, Grammy award winning band, are set to sing at the Superbowl in Texas on February 6. Last year's Superbowl, which had The Who, was the most watch TV program with 106.5 million viewers. Those viewers don't count the viewers who shared TV. Acts from years ago include Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, U2 and Prince. They have sold more than 28 million albums world wide.

4)Black Friday sales See Slight Rise
                     People coming out on Black Friday rose to2.2%, but no rise in sale. Yet, the sales only rose o.3%.  Shops every where saw many customers, but little sales. The reason for this is mainly because of the one day only online sales. The online shopping received a 27% increase over the past two years. Black Friday shows people want great deals, but don't want the wait.

5) Snow Closes Hundreds of UK Schools
                   Hundreds of schools in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the north-east of England and Cornwall, have been shut down with heavy ice and snow. Airports have been opening and closing all over the place their. In Scotland about 3,000 homes are without electricity. Thunderstorms have caused many power outs in Cornwall. The worst hit places are Tayside and Perth, says one of their local reporters. It started to day, and may continue for days, even weeks.

         3 Feature stories on the ones that I think we should do

1)List of students birthdays for the month
                       Knowing the upcoming student birthdays could benefit us all. Everyone deserves a little love on their birthday. I mean, it's only the most important event, besides getting saved, in their life. Putting their name on the paper would make them feel loved probably. So I think we should go around asking whose birthday it is for the upcoming month
     
                      If we get a student to go under cover and ask around, we could get names of whose birthday it is for that month. If one day someone forgets someones' birthday, that will never happen again if we do this. People can look on the list, and put that persons name on the morning announcements. Once again this will make them feel special, maybe. I know that would make me feel awesome.

                    I know it will be really hard to get everyones birthday. Heck, we may even miss a few people, but it will make the people's name we get happy. If some don't want their name in the paper, they can just say so. Some people may not like the attention, so that is why they would turn it down. This may be too big of a job for one person.

                   If we get one person asinged to each grade, then we can find all the birthdays. We could even put a sheet in the office, and say sign it if your birthday is this month. I think the last one would be the fastest and easiest way to do so. They would have to put the day, and their name. Of course, we would need permission to put the sheet in the office in the first place. These are why we should put birthdays in the paper.

2)Christian Band of the month
            I think it would be awesome to put a christian band of the month in the newspaper. If we did so, we could get good music in these children's ears. We could get someone to go the internet and listen to a bunch of Christian bands. (Even though we all know the Deluge band will win :D) I think listening to good clean Christian music will help.
  
                 Not everyone here is a Christian, and listen to good music. If we could post a Christian band and their songs, maybe they will look them up. Listening to Godly music is one step in being a Christian. There are allot of good Christian bands I think people will like. We could even post a video of the month.

                Many Christians don't know 5 Christian bands off the top of their head. Wich is a really bad thing. I am going to admit I can hardly name five bands. Maybe we could also do Christian singer of teh month. I can think of atleast ten right  now at that.
                Posting Christian Bands of the month can also help teachers. Some teachers may find a new band they like. So all in all it will help everyone to post Christian bands of the month. I think it is really important that we put Christian bands of the month. This is why we should post Christian banf of the month.

3)Encouraging scripture
            Putting encouraging scripures will help everyone. It can help someone get through the day, and week. Sometimes people are having down days, adn need a little up. Simply putting an encouraging scripture will help that. I think putting one up will be a smart thing to do.

                 Sometimes someone is jus having a bad day and needs lifting. If we put an encouraging scripture then maybe that will make their day better. I know I would like to see an encouraging scripture on the paper. Because sometimes I have bad days too. Once again, it would be a smart thing to do.

               Maybe by putting on the scriptures, it will encourage them to crack open their Bible. Once you start reading the Bible it is hard to stop. So by doing this mauybe people will start putting verses. We could just get someone to open the Bible or google godscripptures. I can think of atleast te verses that would be great for this. One of which is Isaih 40:30-31

                Sometimes we just get a littledoughtful, and need reasurance. This would be perfect to do so. It would be unsmart to not post an encouraging message. Saying this it would be goood to post verses. These are the reasons we should put an encouraging verse.

                       5 Favorite Hobbies
1) Volleyball
          Volleyball is only the most awesomest sport in the entire world, not counting football. I started playing it last year. I have always wanted to play it ever since I was in k-4 and saw some older kids playing it. I like diving to save the ball, and when the crowd cheers when I save it for them getting a point, which is why I enjoy it. I plan on playing it again this year.


2)Painting
          I like to paint because it makes me happy. When I get bored I paint random things in my room that look dull. I have atleast a million canvases in my room, and a zillion paint colors. I have loved painting ever since I could walk. Heck, I have loved anything artsy since I could walk. :)

3)Writing
      I have written stories ever since I learned to write. When I opend boxes from when I was like 4, I saw a story I wrote, and my spelling was not pretty. I like writting, because it opens up a new world. In fact, when I grow up I want to write books. I just recently found a type writter in my grandmothers house, and I have been writting on it since forever!


4)Making stuff
         In case anyone doesn't know, I like to make braclets. I know how to make braclets like said braclet below. I also like to sew stuff, which is making stuff, like pillows and such. I like to make things, because  it keeps me busy, and it is fun. I like to make things that decorate my room, because I don't like plain things. Making braclets like the one below keeps my mind busy and going. I like coming up with new patterns and seeing the smile on someones face when I give it them. I also makes bows too. :)

5)Reading
       With out books I don't know what I would do. I enjoy reading sooo much! I'm not sure where I get my love of reading because my mom hardly reads, and my dad HATES reading. He can hardly read a text message. :) I like reading because it gives me new words and opens another world. I plan to get on reading. :D

         I have recently read The Hunger Games, and LOVED it! I like it because it after North America is destroyed, and it has a romance in it, sorta. It has some gross parts in it, because they have to kill each other. Other than that I really like this book allot. I bought the first book, I bought the second, I bought the third, but I haven't started the third one yet. All and all this is one awesome book.
       
2)Secrets of My Hollywood Life
        I have read all the books in this series, except for the new one that comes out this March. It is too hard to pick. I like these books because it shows the life of a Hollywood, "it" girl. The books are funny, sad, and above all: intertaning. It only takes about two days to read, well I'm a fast reader and read alot, and they are great AR books. I can't wait till the new one comes out!


 

3) Double Identity
             I have read this book almost twenty times, I think. It has been my favorite book ever since the fourth grade. I read it altleast three times each year. The book is about a girl whose parents have many secrets, and she finds out she had a sister and cousin. I like the book because it is a page turner. Each page lies another book. This book was the book that got me started on reading. I will cherish this book forever. :D


4)Found
       Found one of the three books in the Missing series. I read it in fith and sixth grade, and loved it. I have read all three books in the series, but this one interest me the most because it was the first book. I like it because a boy named Jonah was adopted and finds out when he was little he was found on a plane. Jonah and his friend Chip keep finding letters, and Chip finds out he is adopted too, and he too was on the plane. If you want to know the rest I think you will have to crack open the book.

5)Among the Hidden
            These books are super duper AMAZING! The first one is called Among the Hidden, which is the book I am talking about. I read this book last year and finished the series this year, because I couldn't find all the books last year. I like this book because a boy named Luke is a third child, and third children are illegal due to lack of food. His parents have hidden him his whole like. This book is the beest book in the whole series. I don't really like the last book, because the way the author wrote it, it seems like she was just trying to get it over with. Other than that I love this book, and this series.

1) Fantastic Mr. Fox
           Fantastic Mr. Fox is only like the best movie in the world! I get it for free on my tv, so I'm like always watching the movie. I love the way it is animated and how they say cussin' instead of other profanity. I have watched it atleast 3 times a day for the past week or so. If it where humanly possible, I would marry this movie. I plan to watch this movie till I get to my grave, :D


2) Big Fat Liar
          I am not kidding when I say I have seen this movie a thousand times. When I was little I had the VCR and I would always have my mom playing it over and over. I knew every line from heart. I think the main reason I liked this was because I had a crush on Frankie Muniz. :D I loved the part where he has to stay as a blue man, and they trick the mean man.



3)Lion King 1 1/2
           I really love the Lion King 1 1/2! I love how they made the first two movies, and then did Lion King 1 1/2. It is the cutest movie I have ever seen, like for realz. It is all about the mearcats and what not. I've only seen it a couple of times, but I have loved it since the first time I ever saw it.



4) Madagascar 2
         The first Madagascar is ok, but the second one is awesome! Even though it ripes off the Lion King, I still loves it. It is full of comedy and that I like about it. My favorite part is when the boy penguin asks for maternity leave! If there is anyone who hasn't seen it yet, go see it now. I have seen it atleast 20, and every time it gets better



5) Toy Story 3
        Toy story 3 has finally come! I remember asking my mom if they had a toy, when I was little, and she said no. I live this because I almost cried during it. It is soooooooo cute and funny at some parts. My favorite part is when Woody asks the unicorn if there is an exit and he says No. Then he goes, "just kidding, the exit is over there.

1)Paramore
            Paramore is a band of  like three guys, and the lead singer girl, Hayley Williams. Hayley has such a power full voice and that's one reason I enjoy listening to them. My cousin Paige showed me them and I have loved them ever since. Their music is clean, which is yet another reason I like to listen to them. There are rumors that they are splitting the band up, but I hope they are false. I hope they are false because they make great music.



2)The Ready Set
         I really like the band The Ready Set which has numerous dudes in it. The lead singers name is Jordan Witzigreuter and is voice is only the best in the world. My favorite song by them is Love Like Woe, which they music video gives me the creeps. Their songs are amazing, that is why I love them. I could honestly listen to their songs like all day! That is how amazingly awesome they are. 







3) NeverShoutNever!
        
       Nevershoutnever is an awesome band with four guys in it. The lead singers name is Christofer Drew Ignle, and yes he spells it with an f. I like their old stuff better, because their new stuff has some bad words in it. I only listen to the clean old ones. Christofer has an awesome voice and can play  many instroments, and that is why I like their music. Once again, I only like their old stuff.


        
        
4) Lights
         The Lead singer of lights Valerie Poxleitner and her hair is pretty. Her voice sounds awesome, even live. The main reason I like them is because of her voice. February Air is my favorite song by them, and the song has two music videos. One from like 2003 and another from 2008. In the second music video they made her hair purple, and she is one of the low number of people who can pull off purple hair. I enjoy listening to their awesome music!





5) Flyleaf
        Flyleaf's singer has an amazing voice! When I first heard her sign I was like, woe, is that coming from that tiny thing? She is soo small and has a powerful voice. They are a nice Christian band, and that is why I like them. My favorite song of theirs is Cassie, which is dedicated to the girl who got killed for her Love for God. I enjoy listening to her voice, and their music.

blog assignment #35/My Weekend

                  My Awesome Weekend


            Weekends are a break from school. Some weekends I spend bored, others I barely have time to feel bored. I wait all week for my weekend to come, just so it will fly by like an airplane. My weekends are the time I get to sleep in and not have to think as much. I mean honestly I don't know anyone who hates weekends, except weird people who don't think of anything but work.

                        On Friday my cousin, Paige, picked me up from school and brought me to my house. When we got to my house we put in a nice pizza and watched the Princess and the Frog movie. After that I went to her house/ my mo mo's house(she lives with my mo mo) and stayed the night. We ate a hot dog then went up to her room to watch Ghost Hunters or something like that. We went to bed pretty early, like eleven or so.

                      Saturday Paige woke me up and my mo mo made us, what we call, breakfast s'mores. It is just toasted bread with peanut butter and chocolate in it. After we ate that we went up to play guitar hero, until we beat it. It only took us four hours. While we had been playing it my mo mo was making a pizza. After that we had to get ready to go out to eat with my family. When we got to the restaurant the older people had to pick names for who they give presents to on Christmas. Since there are seven of the kids it is too much money to get each one a gift. The rule is however many kids you have, is how many names you have to draw.

                     Sunday my mom woke me up and we went to Bethany for church. After church we went to wall mart to get last minute Halloween candy. For a while I did my homework and watched tv. I got dressed, as a princess, and got the candy together. At six people started coming, so my mom and I sat outside giving candy out. We ran out of candy by 7:40(it ended at 8) and we had at least ten bags! All in all, my weekend was fun.

                My Topic Choice: Llamas

          Many may be asking this question, who wants a llama? Well the real question is, who doesn't want a llama? They are one of the most enjoyable large fluffy animals. Llamas come in various colors and various shapes and sizes. They mostly have long necks and travel in packs. In facta pack of llamas is called a herd. Llamas mostly travel in a herd of five at the most.

                   Llamas mostly live in the Andes Mountains in the west of South America. They are located in other high climates areas, but there are hardly any in North America. You can find llamas in high grassy areas, because they mostly eat grass. Many believe that the llama is a descendant of the guanaco. They come from the family of camels, which you can see the resemblance.

                 Llamas can weigh from 80 to 100 pounds, which isn't that big for an animal of such size. Llamas are perfect animals for going hiking and backpacking, because they can carry one third of their weight. Also who wouldn't want to hike with a llama. They are still commonly used for hiking in South America. Llamas keep you company and carry your stuff while you be lazy.

                Like dogs they have llama shows. They are judged on representation and movement. Llama showing can be enjoyed from youth to elderly people. They are more common than I thought. You can win ribbons of all sorts for llama shows. I, personally, want to buy a llama and enter it in the show now that I have seen teh ribbons and such.

             Since llamas are gentle with humans many depressed and handicap people buy them. Llamas are very alert and serious, as well gentle. They make excellent pets for those going through theropy. They make the person feel special and like they have a bond. They bring unlimited joy to the elderly in nursing homes. Plus llamas rarely have "accidents."

              Llamas are guard animals in South America. They go from guarding flocks sheeps to geese. Llamas become attached to whatever they are guarding, so they stick to guarding it. Having llamas as guards saves many people from losing their livestocks to preditars. Though having llamas as a guard isn't always 100% affectable many use this method. Likly if a coyote attacks the llama will fail at protecting.

               San Diego

                       San Diego is a city full of hopes and relaxation. When visiting San Diego the most talked about hotel is the Ivy Hotel. Many say the price is cheap and the place is great. San Diego is more than just a tourist attraction for the few locals. They have neighborhoods and such, like another city. When eating out Cafe Chloe is quite the attraction for hungry customers. Most people go to the Balboa Park and just sit back and let the sun travel in.

San Francisco


                       San Francisco is known for it's Brooklyn Bridge. I remember watching That So Raven and seeing the Brooklyn Bridge on the show and trolly trains. Many Say San Francisco is quite the sight to see. The most top notch hotel is the All Season San Francisco Hotel. People line up to eat at the all time yummy  Michael Mina. One of the best things about going there would probably bee seeing all the fairs on the side or the rode and going to one. Though there are many things to do there I would like to go on the fairs wheel!

Santa Monica

                Santa Monica is known for the glorious restraunts. When torist think of a glorious beach or night out the town they think of Santa Monica. Many say JiRaffe is a classic, yet ellagant place to go and eat. There are a bunch of other hotels and places to eat at here. If I had the choice to live there I'd move in a heart beat! In fact, I hope to vactation there someday.


                       My Favorite out Of The Three
          My favorite would have to be Santa Monica. Like I said, I wish I could live there. I mean look at the picture of those people in their both! Who would not wanna live there? I would pull out a towel and take a nap on the beach. I would also run on the bored walk, or dance like a werdo on it. :) Either way you put it I would have fun and enjoy Santa Monica.

1)Yahoo
          I often find myself on yahoo whether I mean to go on it or not, because it is my homepage. I go on it and check my email and see what my friends are up to. If any of my friends are online I can chat with them about llamas and such. I mostly send junk mail about imaginary things to my friends, but that is OK because they do the same to me. Yahoo is the first thing I get on when I'm on my computer, because I might have an important email.

2)YouTube
        When I'm on my computer I want to listen to music, so I go on YouTube. I usually play music on YouTube as I read, because I find it hard to read in silence. I also like to watch my cousin's videos because they are quite funny. Along with my cousins videos I watch a few other funny things, but make sure that they aren't bad. Sometimes I just type in random words on YouTube and see what videos come up.

3)Photobucket
        I go on photobucket allot so I can get pictures and edit pictures. Sometimes when it is one of my parents birthdays I find picture on their to email to them. I also go on photobucket so I can edit pictures. When I take picture of friends, family, my dog, and even me I like to go on and add funny things to them. Photobucket has cute sayings and photos on it, so I get some pictures off of there for school projects sometimes.

4) Google
         Google is where you can find everything. I bet you can even find llamas for sale in the Sahara Desert. I am almost always on google getting information and pictures for school stuff. Sometimes Google has bad stuff, so I have the safe search on all the time. Sometimes Google aggravates me when it doesn't have what  I am looking for. I also love going on google to see how they spelt google for the day or the week.

5)Classchatter
          I go on classchatter daily because I have Bible to do on it. Everyday I log onto blogger open my Bible and read. I have to post what's going on in the Bible story and answer the daily question that has to do with the Bible story. I have to push my post as still in progress, or else I'll turn it in and get a zero. I don't want a zero so I try my best to avoid that button.

6)Blogger
          Blogger just so happens to be the website that I am on now. Just like classchatter I go on Bible daily. I have to go on it daily because I have assignments for Junior High Publications. I really enjoy going on here instead of having a pen,  paper and a dust old dictionary. My teacher gives us all something to blog about and each day it is different.

7)RenWeb
         Renweb is what holds my grades and a bunch of stuff for school. It has homework, lesson plans, and test grades. It also says whats for lunch, if I got demerits, and more. I check renweb every day to make sure I do homework, look at my grades, see whats for lunch the next day, and more. Not only do I check it daily, but my mom also does too. In fact it is my mom's homepage.

8)BibleGateway
          I go on BibleGateWay on a daily bases. I have to so I can read the verses and log it on Classchatter. On Bibilegateway I put in the verse and it comes up. It is as simple as that! Sometimes I look at the verse of the day for encouragement to keep on keepin' on. Biblegateway is very convenient and cool!

9)Shoutlife
          Shoutlife is a bit like facebook, but it is a christian website. It is a way to talk with other Christians and get to know new people. I have made many new christian friends on there and have been talking with them. Shoutlife has as much privacy as facebook, heck maybe even more! I am almost always on Shoutlife talking with friends and what not.

10)Addicting games
          Addicting games has over a million games to play on it. I don't go on it allot, but I go on it at least once a week to see the new games. My two favorite games on it is Pacxon and my lemonade stand. They are fun and clean games to play. Addicting games has some bad games, but I stay away from those. Really all I do on there is waiste time playing games.
